Sir Charles Roberts' short story shows how humans and animals survive. Humans are the superior race on earth and animals, well that's another story. In the jungle its survival of the fittest. Animals fend for themselves and humans mostly depend on technology. The story proves that the human race is superior and they will do all they can to protect one of theirs from the danger of animals. Because of technology humans no longer see the survival of the fittest and they try to stay away from the jungle as much as they can. The story basically shows how humans are superior
